Tidy

The words customers use most: neat, tidy, fair

Who turns up

One electrician, start to finish.

DJZ Electrical is Daniel, working out of Kilmore and covering the towns around it. You deal with him on the phone, he is the one who arrives, and he is the one who finishes the job. Nobody gets handed off to a call centre and nobody gets a different name on the day.

The work runs from a single extra power point in a hallway through to wiring a factory floor. Domestic, commercial, new builds and renovations, plus the odd jobs most people put off: a fan in the alfresco, a TV mounted properly with the cable out of sight, an antenna that stops the picture dropping out.

The phone is on 24 hours. If something has tripped at nine at night or on a Sunday, that is exactly the sort of call this business is set up for.

Around the house

Lighting that changes how a room feels.

Downlights, pendants, feature fittings and outdoor lighting, wired in properly and set out so the light lands where you want it. Same for power: if a room is short of points, that gets sorted rather than worked around.

Commercial and industrial

Sheds, shops and factory floors.

High bay lighting over a production floor, LED panels through an office ceiling, machinery circuits, switchboards and the power to run them. The kind of work where the building has to keep operating while it happens.

  • Office and retail fit-outs
  • Switchboards and distribution
  • Machinery and three phase circuits
  • Shed, garage and workshop power

TV, data and antennas

Mounted flat, cables out of sight.

A television screwed to a wall with a lead dangling down it is a two minute job done badly. Done properly, the bracket is fixed into something solid, a power point and the data go in behind the screen, and nothing hangs.

Same thinking for the rest of it: extra TV points through the house, data cabling, phone points, and antenna work when the picture keeps breaking up.

What he does

Nine things, all of them electrical.

If it is on this list, it is a phone call. If it is not on this list but it is electrical, it is still worth the phone call.

Domestic

Everything inside and around the house. Faults traced and fixed, extra points where you actually need them, and the tidy-up done before he leaves.

Commercial

Shops, offices, workshops and factories. Work scheduled around your trading hours so the lights stay on while you are open.

New homes

Full electrical fit-out for new builds, from rough-in through to fit-off, working to the builder's programme.

Factory wiring

Three phase, machinery circuits and high bay lighting across sheds and production floors.

Renovations, old and new

Older wiring brought up to scratch as part of a renovation, and new circuits run into extensions and re-planned rooms.

General light and power

Downlights, pendants, feature fittings, outdoor lighting, and power points added wherever the room is short of them.

Ceiling fans

Supplied and installed indoors and out, including alfresco areas and raked ceilings.

Shed wiring

Power and lighting run out to sheds, garages and workshops, sized for the tools you plan to plug in.

Phone, data and TV points

Data cabling, TV points and antennas, plus wall mounting with the cabling hidden in the wall rather than hanging down it.

Every single review is five stars

Daniel was fantastic to deal with. He came out after hours to relocate several power points for me and did an excellent job. He was efficient, professional, and completed the work to a high standard. His pricing was very fair, especially considering it was after-hours work. Great communication throughout the process and left everything neat and tidy when he finished. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Daniel to anyone needing a reliable electrician.

Daniel was efficient and easy to deal with. Got to my place within half an hour and fixed the problem within the hour. Mind you it was the weekend as well. Great rate and service. Would recommend if you ever need an urgent call out.

DJZ Electrical came and installed two TVs and installed extra points. They were able to come out on a Sunday to help work around our work schedules. Excellent service and thorough job. Thanks.
